Proof Copy November

Your November draft, printed as a paperback.

Write it in November. Hold it in December.

A November novel-writing challenge that ends with your draft printed as a real paperback, your word count on the back. No AI touches your manuscript, no ISBN, nobody reads it but you. In development — join the waitlist.

$39 once, your paperback shipped.

No AI reads or touches your words. A script (not a model) sets the type. We never read it, never list it, never assign an ISBN. The file is deleted once the press confirms the print. You keep every right.

Why Proof Copy November

A deadline that ends in something.

Thirty days, one cohort, and a paperback on your desk in December. Not a badge, not a certificate: a book you can thump on a table.

Everyone prints.

Finished 50,000? The back cover says so. Stopped at 23,000? You get a thinner book that says 23,000. Upload anything by December 7 and it prints.

Nothing to typeset.

Upload the mess (.docx, .md, .txt or a Scrivener export). A 6x9 interior, a cover with your title and name, and your count on the back are made for you. No Lulu settings, no margins, no ISBN.

How it works

  1. Join by Nov 1. (Late entry through Nov 7.) An email and a working title. That's the account.
  2. Log one number a day. Today's word count, by text or on one page. Your bar sits next to the cohort's total. Miss three days and your bar says so.
  3. Upload Dec 1-7, hold it mid-December. Send whatever you have. It's set, printed by a print-on-demand press near you (US / UK / EU), and shipped. The file is deleted after the press confirms.

Questions

Does any AI read my novel?

No. Typesetting is a fixed script (a 6x9 template), the same steps for every book. No model sees the text, we don't read it, it's never listed or given an ISBN, and the file is deleted after it prints. You keep all rights.

What if I don't finish?

You still get the book. Your final count goes on the back cover whatever it is. The thin ones are the point too.

What does it cost, and is it too late?

$39 once, one paperback shipped included; extra copies at print cost + $2. No subscription. Sign up by Nov 1; late entry runs through Nov 7.
